The music dilemma + representing disability

Up until yesterday, our progress was being hindered by the fact we couldn't find any background music for our film opening. However, we've decided to join forces with garageband and create our own music using simple beats and more.
so far it's looking fairly successful, so, hopefully, all wil lwork out.

With Mrs. Francis we looked at how disabled persons were represented in British TV drama. Most of the time, disabled people were simply represented as somebody in a wheelchair and were played by non-disabled people.
We were given the task of creating a disabled character and describing how we would represent them in a current british TV drama.
The Trybus and myself decided that a young boy, with down syndrome, should be seen as an equal figure and represented as a normal kid amongst all the others.

9th Feb work +

Hannah, Liv and I have almost finished our 2 minute opening film task.
We have the final cut of the 2 minute task, which is aprrox 2 mins 24 secs which we were allowed. Credits etc. still need to be added which will be dealt with tomorrow.
However, we spent most of our lesson today searching for mysterious related music to add with little success. Finding mysterious music to relate to our movie opening is harder than i thought it would be.

With Mrs. Francis we've returned to Tv drama, looking at Moses Jones and multiculturalism/ethnicity. Moses himself is a top bloke and we also realised how many different cultures were represented. In fact, you could say that the TV drama went a little OTT with the cultures as we saw so many!

Snow day 3

3 so far, but can we be granted a 4th?

Yesterday we were actually in school after a 2 day break before being hit by another snow shower today.
Liv, Hannah and myself managed to make a first draft of our final piece. It's around 2.20 or 2.40 at the moment so still needs a little tweaking here and there.
We have yet to decide and search for music which i'm guessing we'll begin next time we're back at school, which, according to forecasts, could be a few days yet :)
